CUCUMBERS

There is nothing quite like the fresh crunch of a summer cucumber. They can be enjoyed “as is” or with flavors that are sweet, salty, or spicy. Great for hydration, cucumbers also contain a decent amount of Vitamin C. The peel and seeds are the most nutritous part of the vegetable, containing fiber and beta-carotene.

STORAGE TIPS:
Cucumbers should be stored in your refrigerator and eaten within a few days. 

CULINARY TIPS:

  • Slice right into a salad or add to a sandwich

  • Make quick pickles

  • Add to ice water for an extra refreshing drink

  • Make cucumber noodles with peanut sauce

PAIRS WELL WITH:

  • Yogurt, sour cream

  • Dill, parsley, mint, cilantro

  • Vinegar, lemon
