"We absolutely LOVE this CSA! As a mom of 3 young boys, I love knowing that my kids are
eating fresh, organic vegetables. We recommend this CSA to everyone we know and can't wait to do
it again next year!" - Amie, Mansfield

"This year I joined my first CSA
at Second Nature Farm and what a great decision it was! Adam and his co-workers were enthusiastic,
helpful, and knowledgeable. The vegetables and fruits were fresh, delicious, abundant, and in
great variety." - Dana, Norton

"I've had a CSA before, and the varieties
of produce there did not compare. My children enjoyed coming with us helping choose our special
selections and try things we never had. Quantities were excellent and my freezer now has some
vegetables ready for the winter. We loved it and will definitely sign up again!" - Karen, Plainville

"Being part of a CSA provided me with
plenty of delicious, farm-fresh produce.
More importantly, it allowed me to support local agriculture and provided me with a sense of
community." -Stacey, Attleboro

What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is the backbone of many small,
diversified vegetable farms. CSA members purchase a share of the season's
harvest at the beginning of the year, and in doing so provide the farmer with
capital at a time when there are many expenses (seeds, potting soil,
equipment/tools, infrastructure) and no income. In
exchange for their commitment to the farm, members receive the season's
produce at a significantly discounted rate.
Our CSA
As we've learned from previous years, each CSA member has different needs and
tastes. While one member may want beets each week, another member may not
like beets at all, and yet another may want beets every couple weeks. In
order to satisfy most, we allow members to choose a portion of their CSA share.
Each week there are 2-4 "core" items that all CSA members receive,
and 4-7 "you choose" items that members select from our produce display (the number of items
varies each week due to seasonal availability - shares are largest in late
summer when we harvest the most produce).
How long is the CSA and how much does it cost?
We offer 3 different CSAs that, when put together, span 33 weeks of the year. CSA members choose
which seasons they'd like to particpate.
