Baby Ginger!

Hi all,

Despite tomorrow’s rainy forecast, we’ll be at all our regular markets, loaded with delicious food! If you didn’t get a chance to try our baby ginger yet, tomorrow’s your chance to grab some. I highly recommend trying some to either use in a stir fry, soup, or baked dessert. Our baby ginger is sweet and tender, and it’s convenient to use as you don’t have to peel it! This website has links to 29 awesome ginger recipes, amongst which include pumpkin-ginger bread, and ginger fried-rice with a sunny-side up egg on top! Ginger also freezes well (you can grate for use while still frozen) so stock up for the winter!

Tomorrow also marks one of your last chances to enjoy our summer vegetables –tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, strawberries, and summer squash are all on the way out. A rainy fall weekend is also the perfect opportunity for cooking, and we’ll have plenty of potatoes, leeks, carrots, onions, and kale - roasted, sautéed, or made into soup, our vegetables will feed the soul!

Thank you for reading and supporting us this year, and we hope to see you tomorrow!

Best,
Adam
