POTATOES

It seems that almost everybody loves potatoes. This starchy tuber is the third most important food crop in the world and can make any dish feel more filling and satisfying. Potatoes are a good source of vitamin C and actually contain more potassium than a banana!

STORAGE TIPS:
Store in a cool dark place, such as a pantry, or in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.  

CULINARY TIPS:

  • Be sure to scrub thoroughly to remove any dirt

  • Boil, roast, or fry

  • Add cubed potatoes to soup or stew
